More than a decade also. I picked it up briefly; need to get back to it.

Many ages ago in the beforetimes, when I was a spawnling. I think I re-read in my thirties?  Somewhere…  So good.

Still got my old book my mum bought for me when I was twelve. Read it twice with my son now too. 

Slogged through it in my early teens, and I do mean slogged. The only part I actually enjoyed was Smaug and the cup! So glad it didn’t keep me away from the LotR, because the Two Towers is one of my favorite books. Read it again last month/a few decades later just to make sure, and yep. Slogfest, except for Smaug and the cup! So YAY for me :)
